Open your eyes…

We’re in the second half of the year. Time does have a funny way of slipping through our fingers without us even realizing it.

While it’s normal to panic in these situations, I try to maintain some level of calmness on the inside. I take it as a sign and reminder to live life to the fullest and make special memories along the way. Because in the end, life is what we make of it.

Where I’m at 🧠

I’ve just returned from a much-needed vacation. I had the best time.

Taking a break from work, new scenery, going out at night, and reconnecting with parts of myself that make me feel alive reminded me that life is nothing short of beautiful.

At the beginning of the year, I made it a goal to start writing love notes again and I’m happy that I still get to do that this season at my own pace. I guess, good things do take time, huh? 😉

Take this as your sign to do that thing you’ve wanted to do since January.

Everyone’s journey is different, and it’s okay to move slowly and eventually pick up pace at intervals because as much as the destination is important, the journey is essential too. And it’s never too late to restart.

As we’ve come into the middle of the year, I think it’s a great time to reflect and reward yourself for the progress you’ve made.
